My company is the developer of the first “space coffee.” Used by professional science fiction writers, space coffee provides the “atmospheric sensation” to provide motivation essential for creating “spacey" ideas. This will bring out the full potential of sci-fi movie directors, writers, and artists who wish to possess the “out of this world” imagination that James Cameron and J.J. Abrams-type directors possess.

The texture of this “space coffee” (brand name SpaceJava) will resemble the sky on a starry night, and when mixed with creamer, it will resemble the Northern Lights. It is not recommended that this beverage is consumed regularly, but to be used while in the creative process of developing imaginative and “magical” ideas. Not only is this delicious, fun to consume, and even look at, but it also contains no traces of THC, LSD, or any other psychedelic compound.

'Ebay' Logo Response

I thought this logo was very successful at what it was trying to achieve. As the company's aim is to offer a "cleaner, more contemporary and consistent experience." according to the article, streamlining the logo is a good approach to achieve such effect. Personally, I like this new design because it looks and feels more professional, as opposed to the old logo that gave off a "fun" and less serious appearance.

Response to NY Times article

I was really expecting more from this article than a narrow focus on traffic sign design. While the article did show an immense appreciation for good design, and a loathing for poor, I couldn’t help but feel that the author should have explored such ugliness in other fields of design as well. One point I really loved and agreed with, however, is when a company hires an individual to retain a design but ends up ruining it. That is one thing I also feel passionate about.

    Self-taught PC user
2.) What is your experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, if any?
    Use Photoshop mostly for cropping and layering for animation. No Illustrator experience.

7.) One day, I was sitting in my little sister's bedroom looking through her music collection. I noticed all of these teeny bopper artists who have been catapulted to fame. "I don't understand," I said to her.
 "What don't you understand?"
"These people have no talent, they just write generic lyrics that have no meaning. I can do this, so why aren't I so rich and famous?"
"Because you didn't do this."
